CocoRosie a french experimental folk duo formed by Sierra singing, playing the guitar, piano and harp, and Bianca singing and manipulating various children's toys, electronic and percussion instruments, as well as other exotic noisemakers.
CocoRosie don’t dress quite like anybody else; painted on moustaches and teardrops, Victorian dresses, hip-hop style caps and baggy jeans, drag, Native-American costumes, glow-in-the-dark make-up. If we were all dressed so originally we could vanquish boredom forever. Fact. Prada like their style too, back in 2008 they performed at a Prada after-party at New York fashion week. (Music is also worth a listen, and not unlike their style is a combination of a whole heap of different influences.)
